Title: X-ray/UV observations on the Mrk 290 outflow
Abstract:
Outflows from AGNs may have a significant impact on the evolution of their host galaxies and play an important role in the chemical enrichment of the intergalactic medium. We conduct X-ray and UV observations of the nearby luminous Seyfert 1 galaxy Mrk 290 to understand the mechanics and energetics of outflow.Four ionized components were found to be confined in the thermal wind from torus. We also use the outflow absorptions to constrain the BLR properties.
