mapping the future in cosmology: from photo-zs to non-gaussianity

Abstract:

Exciting science opportunities are on the horizon, as we move into the next decade.

Dark energy, dark matter, and many other mysteries in cosmology and galaxy formation are still

unresolved.  After a short overview of the current theoretical and observational status, I will describe some ongoing research projects ranging from  deconvolution techniques and their

applictions to SDSS-III or other future datasets, the large scale structure and dark matter halos,

till non-Gaussianity of the Cosmic Microwave Background.
