CFTHLenS: Observing the Dark Universe Speaker: Liping Fu (Shanghai Normal) Time: Thursday, 3:00pm, November 27th Location: Lecture Hall, 3rd floor Abstract: I will give a general introduction of the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope Lensing (CFHTLenS) survey optimised for weak lensing analyses, observed as part of the CFHT Legacy Survey (CFHTLS). The analysis of these data presents the current state-of-the-art in weak lensing data processing, including data reduction, shear measurement and photometric redshift measurement. The most recent cosmological results from CFHTLenS will be presented as the 2nd part of my talk. |
