Abstract: B-mode polarization in the Cosmic Microwave Background provides a unique window to fundamental physics on energy scales that are not accessible to accelerators.
I will describe a very exciting line of South Pole experiments based on bolometers: BICEP, BICEP2, Keck, and the POLAR Array. BICEP currently provides the best measurement in B-mode, and the follow-up experiments promise to increase the sensitivity by 2 orders of magnitude, with better angular resolution.
