The international workshop on GNSS Remote Sensing for Future Missions and Sciences was held in Shanghai, China, August 7-9, 2011. About 100 participants from about 20 countries or districts attended this workshop with 60 oral talks at following topics: 1) GNSS System and Emerging Applications; 2) GNSS Meteorology and Atmospheric Effects; 3) GNSS Radio Occultation and Atmospheric Sounding; 4) GNSS Ionospheric Sounding and Space Weather; 5) GNSS Tsunami Warning and Seismometer; and 6) GNSS Reflectometry and Remote Sensing.

It provided a forum for assessing current ability and presenting recent results and future developments as well as looking for new collaboration opportunities, joint nanosatellite experiments and missions using GNSS refractometry, reflectometry and scatterometry.
