Resume:

Chengli Huang (黄乘利): He obtained B.S. in Astronomy in Beijing Normal Univ. in 1989, and PhD in SHAO in 1999, respectively.

His research interesting includes Earth rotation/nutation model, terrestrial reference frame, generalized theory of the figure of the earth interior, Mars’ gravity field, data analysis & modeling of LLR data, theoretical global geophysics, etc.

He is IAG Fellow, and served as President of IAU Comm.19 “Rotation of Earth” (2012-2015), Vice President of IAG Comm.3 “Earth Rotation and Geodynamics” (2015-2023), Editor of Journal of Geodesy (2015-2023) and Research of Astronomy and Astrophysics (2019- ), etc. He has served as a team leader  of Center for Astrogeodynamics Research, a division of SHAO since 2013.
