Abstract:

General relativistic (GR) effects are important in the accretion disk plasma near the black hole. These effects will be directly observed in near future by the interferometers. I will give my recent research related to the observational feasibility of the central region of the black hole accretion flow by the VSOP-2 satellite (which is a Japanese space-VLBI satellite to be launched at 2013). I also give the recent results of our imaging simulations of the QPO phenomena and their applications to the Galactic Center Sgr A*. All of these studies are based on GR accretion models around rotating black holes.
