The 2nd International Association of Planetary Sciences (IAPS) Scientific Assembly (IAPS2015)

The 2nd International Association of Planetary Sciences (IAPS) Scientific Assembly (IAPS2015) was held at the Kazan Federal University, 1-4 June 2015, Kazan, Russia, which presented the recent results of the research in space geodesy, dynamical astronomy, astrometry and planetary sciences, and discussed questions related to the study of planets and their satellites, robotic exploration of Moon, Mars, Jupiter and so on.

The IAPS2015 hosted more than 120 participants from 9 countries, including Germany, Netherlands, France, Great Britain, USA, China, and Japan. Prof. Shuanggen Jin from Shanghai Astronomical Observatory, CAS was a Co-Chair.

The IAPS2015 successfully provided a forum for planetary exploration and presented recent results of planetary science as well as future deep-space exploration missions. More information can be found at http://kpfu.ru//astrogeokazan-iaps-2015.html
