Twenty projects of SHAO approved by the National Sciences Foundation of China (NSFC)

 

News from NSFC: Twenty new projects proposed by the researchers of Shanghai Astronomical Observatory approved by the NSFC in 2010. Among them, two are Key projects, 12 are Major projects and 6 are Youth projects.

 

Research staff in the Center for Galaxy and Cosmology (CGC) obtained 9 funds, and one is the key project in the field of cosmology. Shanghai Center for Astro-geodynamics Research (SCAR) obtained 6 funds, Division of Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) obtained 2 funds, Division of Optical Technology Laboratory obtained 2 funds and Division of Time Frequency Technology Laboratory obtained 1 fund.
